Every role below lists the real commitment, the training you receive and the checks we run before you start. Most roles are remote.
Programs
Care navigation volunteer
Help people who have contacted us find a psychiatrist, therapist or clinic that fits their needs, budget and location.
Clinical
Licensed clinician volunteer
Licensed therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners who can offer a small number of pro bono or reduced-fee appointments.
Operations
Resource research volunteer
Keep our resource library accurate: verify hotlines, clinic details, medication assistance programs and eligibility rules.
Outreach
Community outreach volunteer
Tell people who need us that we exist, through community organizations, clinics, schools, faith groups and online communities.
Fundraising
Fundraising and grants volunteer
Research grant opportunities and help prepare applications that pay for appointments, medication and evaluations.
Access
Translation and interpretation volunteer
Translate intake materials and resource guides, or interpret during care navigation calls.
How applying works
- 01Send the form with the role you are interested in and your availability.
- 02We reply within five business days to arrange a short conversation.
- 03References, and a background check where the role involves the public.
- 04Induction training, then supervised work before you go solo.
What we ask of every volunteer
- Be 18 or older and sign a confidentiality agreement.
- Never give clinical advice or make treatment decisions.
- Escalate anything urgent to staff straight away.
- Keep the commitment you agree to, and tell us early if it changes.
