Translation and interpretation volunteer
Translate intake materials and resource guides, or interpret during care navigation calls.
Language should not decide who gets care. Volunteers in this role make our intake and resources usable for people we would otherwise turn away.
What you will do
- Translate forms, guides and follow-up messages
- Interpret during scheduled calls when requested
- Flag phrases that do not translate safely so staff can rework them
What we ask of you
- Genuine fluency in both languages, including everyday health vocabulary
- Strict confidentiality: nothing discussed leaves the call
- Availability confirmed at least a day ahead for live interpretation
