Community outreach volunteer
Tell people who need us that we exist, through community organizations, clinics, schools, faith groups and online communities.
The people who most need free mental health care are the least likely to hear about it. Outreach volunteers close that gap in their own communities.
What you will do
- Share our services with local organizations that serve uninsured or low-income people
- Distribute approved materials at clinics, libraries, campuses and community centers
- Report back on which organizations are interested in a referral relationship
What we ask of you
- Comfortable introducing yourself to organizations and following up
- Use only our approved materials and language
- Background check for any in-person work with the public
