Are you or someone you know in immediate distress?

Find crisis support

Removing barriers to mental health care

Mental health care should be accessible regardless of ability to pay.

When cost or insurance makes care difficult to reach, The MindBridge Health helps you understand available options, connect with independent licensed providers and request assistance toward eligible treatment or prescription costs.

In immediate danger? Crisis support routes. We are not an emergency service.

Care should be based on need, not ability to pay.

The MindBridge Health connects people with qualified professionals, helps cover eligible treatment and prescription costs, and works with providers and community partners to expand access to care.

Learn about our mission

How we help

Three ways we reduce financial and access barriers.

We connect eligible individuals with qualified, licensed professionals, help cover the cost of eligible mental and behavioral health services, and help pay for prescribed behavioral health medications. Availability depends on eligibility and funding.

Connect

Care navigation, referral, and coordination

We help eligible individuals find qualified, licensed mental health professionals and community resources, and coordinate next steps.

Cover cost

Charitable assistance for eligible services

When approved, we may help pay for eligible mental and behavioral health services, including psychiatric care, therapy, medication management, and evaluations.

Medication

Prescription medication assistance

We may help cover the cost of prescribed behavioral health medications for qualifying individuals when cost or coverage creates a barrier.

How assistance works

Request once. We review what is available to you.

01

Request assistance

An individual, family member, professional, or community organization requests support.

02

Review eligibility and need

The MindBridge Health reviews applicable financial barriers, access barriers, service needs, location, available funding, program requirements, and provider availability.

03

Connect with appropriate support

Depending on the situation, assistance may include a provider referral, care navigation, telehealth or in-person care, prescription assistance, or another approved behavioral health resource.

04

Help reduce the financial barrier

When approved, The MindBridge Health may help pay for eligible mental health services, medications, or other approved behavioral health expenses.

Assistance is based on established charitable eligibility criteria, available funding, program requirements, provider availability, and individual circumstances.

Submitting a request does not guarantee approval, payment, medication coverage, provider availability, or a specific treatment outcome.

Our impact

We publish what we count and how we count it.

We do not publish figures before they are final. Service and spending results will be posted with our first annual report.

Stories

Stories of Access

Real experiences from people who were able to access mental health care with support from The MindBridge Health.

“I finally had a way to start care.”

I needed psychiatric care, but I did not have health insurance. Without coverage, getting help felt financially out of reach.

The MindBridge Health helped remove that barrier so I could begin receiving psychiatric care. What mattered most was that the support did not stop after the first visit. I was able to continue with ongoing care and have a consistent path forward.

“Not having insurance no longer meant going without care.”

I knew I needed psychiatric support, but I had no insurance coverage to help pay for treatment.

The cost was the main reason I had not been able to move forward. Through The MindBridge Health, I was able to access psychiatric services without insurance determining whether I could receive care.

That support allowed me to start treatment and continue receiving ongoing psychiatric care.

“I was able to get help and keep getting help.”

Without health insurance, the cost of psychiatric care had become a barrier for me.

The MindBridge Health made it possible for me to receive the care I needed without having to pay the full cost myself. Instead of getting help once and then losing access, I was able to begin ongoing treatment.

Having continued access to care made a meaningful difference in my ability to stay connected with mental health support.

Local provider access

Care closer to home

Where distance, provider shortages, or specialization make it the better fit, we may connect eligible individuals with an independent practice in their community or through telehealth, and help pay for approved services.

Prescription medication assistance

The MindBridge Health may help qualifying individuals cover the cost of prescribed behavioral health medications and other medically appropriate behavioral health-related expenses when cost or insurance coverage creates a barrier.
