Why We Exist

Our Charitable Purpose

The MindBridge Health is organized and operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, including improving access to mental and behavioral health services for individuals and communities experiencing financial, geographic, or other barriers to care.

The organization seeks to accomplish this purpose by:

• Providing financial assistance to eligible individuals for psychiatric evaluations, medication management, psychotherapy, psychological and behavioral health assessments, substance use treatment, and other appropriate mental health services;
• Establishing and maintaining partnerships with independent licensed mental health professionals, behavioral health practices, clinics, hospitals, and community organizations throughout the United States to provide care to eligible individuals at no cost or reduced cost;
• Providing financial assistance for prescription medications and other medically appropriate behavioral health-related expenses for qualifying individuals;
• Connecting individuals with appropriate licensed mental health providers and community resources through care navigation, referral, and coordination services;
• Supporting access to telehealth and in-person mental health services for individuals living in underserved or provider-shortage communities;
• Providing education, outreach, and resources designed to increase mental health awareness, reduce stigma, promote early intervention, and help individuals understand available treatment options;
• Supporting programs and initiatives that improve access to mental health care for uninsured, underinsured, low-income, and otherwise underserved populations; and
• Collaborating with healthcare providers, community organizations, governmental agencies, charitable organizations, and other partners to expand access to high-quality mental and behavioral health services.

The MindBridge Health shall provide assistance based on established charitable eligibility criteria and shall operate for the benefit of the individuals and communities it serves rather than for the private benefit of any particular healthcare provider, practice, individual, or affiliated organization.

Assistance is based on established charitable eligibility criteria, available funding, program requirements, provider availability, and individual circumstances.

The MindBridge Health works with independent licensed mental health professionals, healthcare practices, clinics, hospitals, pharmacies, community organizations, governmental agencies, and charitable partners to expand access to appropriate care.

• No provider is guaranteed referrals, reimbursement, or an exclusive relationship with the organization.

Transparency

We publish what we count and how we count it, and we say plainly what assistance we cannot guarantee. Provider agreements, reimbursement rates, individual information, and internal approval criteria are not published.
